PRESS RELEASE

Orlando, FL– April 21, 2015. DataSite Orlando, Central Florida’s leading wholesale colocation facility, announced today that Cogent Communications will now be delivering service to clients in the DataSite Orlando data center. DataSite is the most fiber rich building in the central Florida region and the extensive carrier diversity is one of the key factors in data center site selection. There are currently nine telecommunications carriers servicing clients in the facility and Cogent rounds that number to and even ten. The current carrier line up consists of AT&T, Verizon, tw telecom, FPL FiberNet, Level (3), Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks, Summit Broadband and Florida LambdarCogent Communicationsail.

“Adding Cogent Communications to our carrier mix is a fantastic addition to our current list of service providers. Cogent provides fantastic economics to clients with high bandwidth requirements,” says Robert Wilson, VP of Sales & Marketing with DataSite.

Fiber entrances in to the DataSite Orlando data center are buried underground and encased in concrete, preventing network disruptions. Fiber enters the building via two diverse raceways, one to the north of the property while the other leaves the building and heads south to provide separate diverse routs for added redundancy.

Providing diversity by being a carrier neutral wholesale colocation facility allows customers to get the connectivity they need at the most competitive price points in the market.
