SSAE 16 Type II
SSAE 16 (formerly SAS-70) is the definitive standard by which DataSite clients and their auditors can gain comfort that operational controls at DataSite are adequate to prevent or detect any operational inefficiencies or oversights that could impact a customer's IT operations. DataSite's SSAE 16 Type II audit includes a description of controls as well as detailed testing of the controls over the last 12 months to show that the controls were operating with sufficient effectiveness and to provide a reasonable assurance that the control objectives were achieved during the audit period.
